Janine DiVita @ 54 Below

Feinstein’s/54 Below, Broadway’s Supper Club and Holtzman-Lopez Productions present Janine DiVita in her brand new solo show LIT: a #modernbroad on Wednesday, November 15 at 9:30 PM. Tickets are now on sale.

Janine DiVita is LIT! Recently back from the IF/THEN national tour and newly married, this dynamic diva and self proclaimed #modernbroad is ready to serve you a cocktail of Broadway and Pop tunes. Settling into a new life chapter, Janine will inspire and ignite her audience while revisiting the shows that gave her purpose and shaped her into the powerhouse she is today. Set to new, modern arrangements by musical genius, Dylan Glatthorn and under the direction of Mitchell Walker, LIT is the tonic you need to ascend to Musical Theatre Heaven!

DiVita made her Broadway debut as everyone’s favorite “bad girl,” Rizzo, in Grease before appearing in Anything Goes and The Mystery of Edwin Drood. She toured the country as Elizabeth in Young Frankenstein (“Nails, Darling!”) and as Anne in IF/THEN. Her television and film appearances include “Elementary,” “The Americans,” and “Hear My Song” opposite Dustin Hoffman and Josh Lucas.

Joining DiVita on stage will be her IF/THEN co-star, James Snyder and students from Empowered Voices (Janine DiVita, Co-Founder), a prevention education organization servicing youth, colleges, military, and professionals through interactive theatrical workshops.

LIT is produced by Holtzman-Lopez Productions and 3611 Prospect Street Productions.
LIT plays Feinstein’s/54 Below (254 West 54th Street) November 15th, 2017 at 9:30 PM. There is a $30-$40 cover charge and $25 food and beverage minimum. “The Arrival” @ Andy’s Summer Playhouse – Sat. 7/8

Orange Grove Dance will present a workshop production of THE ARRIVAL this Saturday, July 8th @ 7:00pm as part of The Greenhouse @ Andy’s Summer Playhouse in Wilton, NH.

The Greenhouse is a metaphoric extension of The Playhouse, where an invited artist/group of artists hold residency for as little or as long as possible to create a new script. In The Greenhouse, we encourage experimentation, scene readings, workshops of movement ideas, and open work sessions so that kids may be exposed to the process of brainstorming for the stage. The Greenhouse culminates into a public reading of a full script or a workshop performance.

For our 2017 Summer of Adversity, The Greenhouse presents:

A stage adaptation of the book THE ARRIVAL by Shaun Tan.

The Arrival is a migrant story told as a series of wordless images that might seem to come from a long forgotten time. A man leaves his wife and child in an impoverished town, seeking better prospects in an unknown country on the other side of a vast ocean. He eventually finds himself in a bewildering city of foreign customs, peculiar animals, curious floating objects and indecipherable languages. With nothing more than a suitcase and a handful of currency, the immigrant must find a place to live, food to eat and some kind of gainful employment. He is helped along the way by sympathetic strangers, each carrying their own unspoken history: stories of struggle and survival in a world of incomprehensible violence, upheaval and hope.”

Choreography by Colette Krogol & Matt Reeves
Music and Sound Design by Dylan Glatthorn
Projections by Matt Reeves & Jonathan Hsu
